Atomic feels like a thoughtful attempt to make personal knowledge bases natively semantic without abandoning markdown as the source of truth. I like the idea that notes become more valuable when they can be continuously re-linked, synthesized, and queried by AI rather than just searched. It points toward PKM tools becoming evolving memory systems instead of static notebooks.
